Brookfield Foundry Landowner Pty Ltd is undertaking a significant development of 405 Bourke Street, Melbourne. Brookfield Foundry Landowner Pty Ltd (The Principal) has engaged Multiplex Constructions Pty Ltd (MPX) as the head contractor under a fixed lump sum Design & Construct contract.

405 Bourke Street, Melbourne is a high profile, 38 level, Class A commercial development in the centre of Melbourne's CBD, totalling approximately 66,970 square metres (“sqm”) including: 63,120 sqm office NLA 3,280 sqm retail NLA 570 sqm End of Trip (“EOT”) facilities, 177 car bays and 40 motorcycle bays.

In line with the Australian Jobs Act 2013, Multiplex is committed to ensuring that information about opportunities to bid for work on the 405 Bourke St project is provided by all levels of the project’s supply chain – from procurement entities to lower tier suppliers.

Notification of Opportunities to supply goods and services
The below schedule provides a indicative list of goods and services to be procured for the project with an anticipated value ≥$1,000,000. Note, these proposed works are design to Australian Building Codes and Standards.

Expected opportunities 

The information provided in the table above is based on an initial assessment by the Contractor, giving our best estimate while detailed design for the proposed works is still underway. This shall be rationalised to include only trade package opportunities of anticipated value ≥$1,000,000.00

Procurement & Project Programme


  • EOI / PQQ program / process’ – June 1 to June 30, 2019
  • Shortlisted entities identified by July 31 – The Contractor’s commercial process
  • Shortlisted entities notified by 7th Aug, with anticipated programme for RFQ’s distribution and required submission dates The Contractor’s commercial process
  • Unsuccessful entities notified by 7th Aug, information provided on contact details and procedure for attaining feedback – The Contractor’s commercial process
  • RFQ/market engagement to form Stage 2 Final Offer, anticipated to commence between July 2018 and March 2020
  • The Contractor’s normal commercial review process shall apply to the assessment of all received bids form shortlisted entities.
